Born and raised in Southern California, Greg Christy has been in Kiwanis for over 33 years in California and Oregon. He was President of the Emerald Empire Kiwanis Club of Eugene, Oregon and was the Kiwanis Lt. Governor for Division 74 in 2015-16.

Greg worked at AT&T for 32 years before he retired in 2005, starting off as the only male directory assistance operator in his office when he was hired and ending his career as an Underground Design Engineer. He has relatives on his mother’s side here in Oregon and moved here after he retired.

Greg joined the Board of the Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program in October of 2018 and has found great satisfaction in being a part of the fight to end children’s cancer through KDCCP.

Other than being passionate about curing cancer in children, Greg is also a collector of Rock-n-Roll memorabilia and has a small collection of signed LPs, CDs, Posters and Guitars.

Greg says, “During my tenure at KDCCP, I hope to continue along the path that will ultimately result in the elimination of cancer in children. If I can perform a small service along that path, I will be grateful.”

We hope you all will join us in welcoming Greg into his new role as President of the Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program’s Board of Directors!
